You’ll book for a specific day, and we’ll send a two-hour arrival window the afternoon before your appointment. We’ll text again when we’re en route.


Our fully equipped, self-contained grooming van parks right outside your home. Your dog stays with us for the entire appointment, and when we’re done you get a clean, polished pup back at your door.


Appointments are scheduled by day, not exact time. You’ll receive a two-hour arrival window the day before your appointment.


Need flexibility? We offer VIP Access for pre-approved clients who can’t be home, we’ll safely retrieve your dog from a designated area.


Most appointments take about 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on the dog. Larger dogs (when accepted) may take 2–3 hours. We work at your pet’s pace and prioritize safety and comfort, so timing may vary from one appointment to the next. 


 Not much! All we ask is that:

  • You have a safe, legal place for us to park (driveways preferred — flat, level, and at least 20 feet long).
  • Your dog is ready and on a leash when we arrive.
    That’s it. We bring everything else: water, power, supplies, and spa-level products.


 We get it! Sometimes great grooming is worth going a little out of the way. If you're located slightly beyond our standard service area, we may be able to accommodate you for a small travel fee. Reach out with your ZIP code and we'll let you know if it's doable. 


Absolutely! At your dog’s first appointment, we ask that you bring them out to the van. You’ll meet the groomer (hi!), get a quick peek inside the salon, and we’ll chat about your dog’s coat, style preferences, and any special considerations. 


First grooms often take a bit longer. I’ll evaluate coat condition, behavior, and grooming history to create a game plan that works for your dog. For some dogs, reaching the desired look may take multiple appointments.  Especially if there’s matting or coat correction needed. 


Pricing is based on your dog’s breed, size, coat type, condition, and behavior. Because every dog is different, we provide individualized quotes. Text or call us for an estimate tailored to your pet’s needs. 


No. For safety, liability, and the dog’s focus, all grooming is done in the van without owners present. This allows us to work calmly and efficiently without distraction or added stress for your dog. 


This is where we shine. Comb & Collar was created with dogs like yours in mind. We specialize in gentle, stress-free grooming for anxious, sensitive, or special needs pets. We take our time, work at your dog’s comfort level, and never force them through a service they’re not ready for. We believe in humanity over vanity because it’s just a haircut, and trust matters more. 


 No, we do not perform anal gland expression. This service is best left to your veterinarian for health and safety reasons.
